Creating the conditions where people, teams, and professional communities grow stronger together.

About Continue‑Us

Continue-Us™ was created through years of leadership experience across education, workforce development, community partnerships, and systems-level collaboration.
Across organizations and sectors, one pattern continued to emerge:
-
People were being asked to lead in environments that had not created the conditions needed for sustainable growth.
-
Organizations introduced new initiatives. Teams worked harder to meet increasing demands. Yet many workplaces continued to experience exhaustion, disconnection, turnover, and strained capacity.
-
Not because people lacked commitment or capability.
-
But because growth was often approached as isolated events rather than something strengthened collectively over time.
Continue-Us™ was created to support organizations differently.
Rather than focusing only on individual performance, this work focuses on strengthening the reflective practices, relationships, professional communities, and collective capacity that help people and systems grow stronger together.
Our Philosophy - Lift Before You Lead
Lift Before You Lead™ is the belief that leadership does not emerge simply because pressure increases or a title changes.
Leadership grows when people feel supported, connected, valued, and capable of contributing meaningfully within the environments around them.
This philosophy recognizes that sustainable leadership requires more than individual effort alone.
It requires environments where reflection is encouraged, relationships are strengthened, collaboration can grow, and people feel empowered to contribute with confidence and clarity.
When people are strengthened first, leadership emerges more naturally across teams, organizations, and systems.

The Growth Continuum
The Growth Continuum™ is the framework that guides Continue-Us™.
Rather than viewing growth as linear or dependent on isolated learning opportunities, The Growth Continuum™ approaches collective capacity-building as a reflective, interconnected, and ongoing process of growth over time.
The framework strengthens collective capacity through four interconnected dimensions:
-
Empower
-
Strengthen
-
Elevate
-
Transform
Together, these dimensions support people, teams, organizations, and systems in deepening reflection, strengthening connection, and creating more sustainable pathways for leadership, collaboration, and collective growth.

About the Founder
Corie Schweertman, MLCE, BASc (Hons), RECE brings more than twenty five years of experience across education, leadership development, workforce strategy, community partnerships, and organizational systems.
Through her work as an educator, consultant, faculty member, supervisor, organizational leader, and director, one consistent realization emerged:
People are being asked to lead in conditions that do not support leadership.
This observation became the foundation for Continue-Us™, Lift Before You Lead™, and The Growth Continuum™.
Today, Corie’s work brings together systems thinking, reflective practice, facilitation, leadership development, and community collaboration to help organizations strengthen the conditions where collective growth can emerge more sustainably.

Vision Forward
Continue-Us™ continues to evolve as a reflective workforce development and collective capacity-building framework designed to strengthen professional communities, leadership, and sustainable growth across sectors.
The long-term vision is to help organizations move beyond isolated initiatives and toward reflective practices and interconnected approaches that strengthen people, teams, and systems together over time.
Because stronger workplaces, healthier communities, and more sustainable systems become possible when people feel supported, connected, valued, and able to grow together.
Growth begins with connection.
Leadership grows where people feel supported, valued, and capable of contributing meaningfully together.
Empowering People, Strengthening Teams, Elevating Workplaces, Transforming Systems.
Growth begins with connection.
Leadership grows where people feel supported, connected, and capable of growing together.
If this approach reflects the future you are working toward, we invite you to begin the conversation.
