Corie Schweertman is the Founder and Executive Director behind the Continue-Us™ approach, a framework designed to empower collective growth.. With decades of experience in human services, education, and community leadership, and a Master of Leadership and Community Engagement from York University, she brings together academic knowledge, lived experience, and relational wisdom. Her work is guided by a passion for equity centered practice and a commitment to building systems that honor people and communities.
Continue-Us™ was created to respond to the complex realities of work that is layered, relational, and deeply human. It centers those who influence lives every day — frontline staff, support teams, supervisors, managers, directors, system leaders, policy makers, educators, healthcare professionals, and skilled tradespeople. Leadership here is not defined by title but expressed through practice, relationships, and the unique gifts each person brings to their work.
Continue-Us™ recognizes that leadership grows through reflection, dialogue, and courageous action. In sectors often divided by silos and functions, it offers a way to share strengths, cross pollinate ideas, and create lasting collective change.
